Ball Workshop
12:00 noon – 2:30pm

The Ball
7:00pm – 11:00pm

Oaks Park Dance Pavilion
7805 Oaks Park Way
Portland, OR 97202

Note: the Ball venue be locked between the afternoon workshop and the Ball.

The afternoon workshop will include a review of most of the Ball dances and styling suggestions for greater dancing pleasure. We will spend time on those dances that are a bit more challenging, so that in the evening more time can be spent dancing rather than learning. We strongly advise attendance at the workshop - plus it is fun!

For the Ball, the band will play waltzes from 7:00pm to 7:30pm as a prelude for the evening. The Ball will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Note that there is very limited room for changing at the Oaks Park Pavilion, so please plan accordingly. We will dance until about 11:00pm with an intermission to socialize with new and old friends and to refresh ourselves with a little food and drink.

Potluck Brunch and Dance Party
10:30am – 2:00pm

A Renaissance School
0234 SW Bancroft St
Portland, OR 97239

Many GPS and map systems ignore a leading 0.  If yours does, specify "SW Corbett Ave & SW Bancroft St, Portland OR."  When you get there, go down the hill and the school is on the right.

To complete the weekend, Ball attendees are invited to a Sunday Potluck Brunch beginning at 10:30am. We will provide coffee and tea to augment what people bring to share.  Out of towners need not worry.  There will be plenty of food.

There will also be dancing and music start around 12:30pm.  We will coordinate open calling (mainly easy dances) and there will be an open band, so bring your dancing shoes, instruments and dance instructions!

NOTE:  Street shoes are not allowed anywhere in A Renaissance School. Please be sure to bring dancing shoes or warm socks.
